Saints Look to Face OC Riptide for First Time in 2026 Season
The Arroyo Seco Saints look for their third consecutive win as they play against the OC Riptide on June 9th.
PASADENA, CA - The Arroyo Seco Saints (2-1) look for their third consecutive win as they play against the OC Riptide (3-1) on June 9th at Jackie Robinson Field.
On Sunday, the Saints shut down the San Diego Bombers (0-3) 16-9 after being down 9 in the third inning. They exploded with five runs in the fourth, and six in the sixth inning.
Wyatt Toth (Undecided) made his Saints debut as a designated hitter, hitting a ground rule double to tie the game 9-9 in the sixth against San Diego.
Brayden Flores (Loyola Marymount) set the stage for the Saints, hitting the first home run of the season, scoring two runs, and having six RBIs overall against the San Diego Bombers.
Cash Carroll (Mount San Antonio College) dominated as relief going six scoreless innings and striking out nine batters against the Bombers on Sunday. The Pasadena native had a 3.86 ERA during his 2026 spring season with Mount San Antonio College.
In the 2025 season, the Saints and Riptide faced each other seven times, with the Saints winning the season series 4-3. In their last encounter, the Saints took the victory 8-6, and look forward to continuing that winning streak in their first 2026 season matchup.
The Riptide are coming off 3 home wins and a loss away. This game is the beginning of many against the Orange County Riptide, as these teams will face off six times throughout the regular season.
